Main Street trick-or-treat brings a two-hour road closure October 30
Safety Harbor’s family event runs from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., with Main Street closed from Bayshore Boulevard to Ninth Avenue.

Safety Harbor’s Main Street will be closed to vehicles between Bayshore Boulevard and Ninth Avenue for downtown trick-or-treating Friday, October 30. The family event runs from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.
Businesses and organizations along Main Street will hand out treats, joined by City Hall and Fire Station 52. Families are invited to wear costumes and walk the downtown route during the two-hour celebration.
The closure is also worth putting on the calendar for residents who normally drive through that stretch of downtown in the late afternoon. Plan an approach that avoids the event blocks and allow time to park before walking in. The city’s current event calendar below is the place to check for changes as October 30 approaches.
